Farewell Friends!
I wanted to come on tonight and let you all know about an email I just received that will end our affiliate status with Barnes and Noble effective July 6th. This is not like the last time and I thought this might happen sooner or later. It is most likely because of the recent merger of the Nook side of BN with Microsoft. That bodes well for Nook, it is great. But in this transition they will either revamp their affiliate program or perhaps never have another affiliate program. We do not know at this point. What we do know is that you all are so awesome! As the founder of Cheap e-Reads, I must thank you for all the love and support. You stormed the social media arm of BN for us and you’ve always been here giving us far more than we’ve ever given you. I thank you from the bottom of my heart and I ask you to please follow us at our Kindle pages if you can. We will mention when titles we list there also happen to be free for Nook.

What is Zoom View?
Barnes & Noble says it’s adding a new feature called Zoom View, allowing readers to zoom in on a particular panel, then read the graphic novel panel-by-panel. This will probably sound familiar to users of ComiXology and affiliated apps on the iPad, where the Guided View experience has gone a long way towards making comics pages readable on smaller screens.
